3Cheap and it shows.
By Sean
For the price, this is a pretty good deal... as long as you know how to replace parts and install new drivers.

We first set this up and it came with only one screw for the VGA port on the video card, so that was loose and I had to open up the case and screw that in to keep the port from shifting around and not letting you fully plug in a cable.
Then, we downloaded some windows updates and went to restart... Computer just shuts down and stays down. Starts back up for 5 minutes, then shuts down when you bump it. After that, it was a struggle to even get it to turn on for more than half a second.

Turns out, after reading the manual included with the Gigabyte brand motherboard, this motherboard suggests using at least a 500 watt power supply or else the computer may be unstable or unbootable.
This comes with a 300W no-name piece of crap. Luckily, I expected this and already had a 530W power supply in the mail so the next day I installed that one and it turns on and stays on just fine now.

On to the driver part. Turns out, the audio driver was crap so none of the 3.5mm jacks would send out sound to headphones or speakers and the front panel jack didn't even recognise something had been plugged into it. 3 minutes and a restart later, the new audio driver was downloaded and installed from the Gigabyte website and it all works fine.

In conclusion, this is a good way to pick up a bargain bundle of parts and a hard drive with Windows installed on it. You just have to put in a bit of DIY elbow grease to get it to run properly.

5Great price for a beginner gaming computer!
By Joanne
I've been searching for a computer around the $500 price for a while and I pulled the trigger on this system. I play League of Legends, Path of Exile, SC2, and a few other games that don't require expensive video cards to run. The computer worked right out the box and boots up REALLY fast! The blue LED fan matches the blue trim of the case, which I like a lot. Not much else I can say, except I recommend anyone that is on a $500 budget to get this computer.

1Excellent Product/illegal OS
By William Harsh
I believe the construction and workmanship is the best I have ever seen. All quality the problem is not the workmanship but the OS and Customer Service in Taiwan.
The problem rests with three things:
1 The OS is not genuine Win 7, 2. Customer Service which I contacted by email said, "it's a Microsoft Problem."
2 I reminded them they sold the machine with the OS and I had the expectation it was a REAL OS--NO RESPONSE.
3 I have not received the Warranty Contract extension and none appears forthcoming.
I have had to buy a genuine Win7 OS at $91.00 additional. Disappointing as to the software and support--a fraud in both areas. I have since bought a new genuine OS 7 from Amazon and will install. I now know they do NOT back their product and the fraud the customer..

I believe this kind of fraud is unacceptable--hopefully Amazon will take steps to bar their selling of computers on Amazon.
